A psychotherapist is a witness of stories that often involve themes like life, death, pain. Ethical questions that vibrate in the most profound and personal spheres of individuals. How much sensitivity and reverence do such soul journeys require? And how do they combine with the current “evidence based” approach to psychotherapy?

Farhad Dalal, group analyst, teacher and supervisor at London’s Institute of Group Analysis, will explore these themes and the cardinal role of supervision in handling them on September 11th 2021  3 – 7 PM (UTC+2, Italy) | 2 – 6 PM (UTC+1, England). The free webinar “Ethics and Supervision in the Teaching Context” will offer attendees the chance to discuss this famous therapist’s theories and to have a Large Group experience and a collective discussion.

Psychologists, phychotherapists, physicians and psychology students are welcome to take part in this event to enrich their work by discussing sensitive themes in the echo of group dynamics.

Simultaneous translation will allow attendees to follow the discussion both in English and in Italian.

PROF. FARHAD DALAL – GROUP ANALYST

Farhad Dalal is a group analyst and supervisor at London’s Group Analysis Institute and a North East London Psychotherapy and Counselling Association and Group Analytic Network member.
He has been working with individuals, groups, and organizations for over thirty years, first in London and currently in Devon.
He has published numerous papers and books on psychoanalysis, group analysis, politics, organizations, and racism.
